1. About Cirrus
Cirrus is a quit vaping and smoking support application operated by Mark Chapman, based in the United Kingdom. By using the Cirrus mobile application and website (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Cirrus. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of Cirrus, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information.
4. Subscriptions and Pricing
Cirrus offers the following subscription plans:
- Weekly: £5.99 per week
- Annual: £59.99 per year
- Lifetime: £99.99 one-time payment
All subscriptions are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system. Recurring subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
Prices may change from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice of any price changes before they take effect.
5. Refunds
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
6. Acceptable Use
When using Cirrus, you agree not to:
- Post harmful, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory content in the community
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
- Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal under UK or applicable law
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the application
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Community Guidelines
The Cirrus community is a supportive, shame-free space. We moderate content to maintain a safe environment. We may remove posts and suspend accounts that violate community standards without prior notice.
8. Health Disclaimer
Cirrus is a support tool, not a medical device or treatment. The app, including the Puff AI coach, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns related to nicotine dependence or withdrawal.
The AI coach provides general support and information based on your usage patterns. Its responses should not be considered a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding associated with Cirrus (including the Puff mascot, Mindful Puff technique, and app interface) are the intellectual property of Cirrus and may not be reproduced without permission.
Content you create (journal entries, community posts) remains yours. By posting in the community, you grant us a licence to display your content within the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cirrus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
